Warm Winter Greetings

The holiday season is in full swing around our town of Sonoma and at Sweetwater. Yesterday was our annual Staff Appreciation event on campus -- everyone is in positive spirits, and I wish the same for all of you. Plenty going on around here of note, just scroll down to read all about it….

Sonoma Fire Update- Sweetwater is SAFE!

We wanted to send you a quick note to let you know that our residents, staff and campus are safe and have been spared from the devastating fires that have permeated much of Sonoma County over the past week.

Summer at Sweetwater Spectrum!

While the summer heatwave seems to have ended, the activity level at Sweetwater has seen no letdown. Between expanding our enrichment programs, selling the summer farm crops, updating our logo, working to fill our two existing vacancies and furthering our efforts to help other communities expand the availability of housing options for people with special needs, the project list is long, but rewarding.

Farm Stand Opening June 20th!

Resident Farm Stand opening! Now on Tuesdays from 10am to 1pm! We look forward to seeing familiar and new faces at our Resident Farm Stand starting Tuesday, June 20th at 730 W. Spain Street. Bring or tell a friend!

Spring Newsletter 2017

Since our last newsletter in October, Sweetwater has continued to benefit from the strong support of our extended community. Between your donations, grants awarded, attending on campus events and helping create new opportunities for residents, together we continue to live the Sweetwater mission of offering individual choice and challenging each resident to reach his or her highest potential.

The fall rains have arrived (thankfully), but here on Sweetwater Spectrum's campus the level of activity remains hot! Our Life With Purpose Celebration in early October took a strong combined effort, but the rewards were worth it – read on for more details.
